Vision
The Regenerative Farming Network wants farming in Scotland to be part of the solution to the climate, nature and public health crises. We want farming to be profitable, sustainable, resilient and nature friendly.
Aims
- Share and disseminate information about agroecological, sustainable, regenerative, holistic and nature friendly farming
- Create and facilitate opportunities for farmers to share knowledge and learn from each other through regional clusters
- Grow a connected community of farmers and landworkers who support each other to make changes on their farms
- Be an open and welcoming space for farmers and landworkers with different views and perspectives
- Actively engage with and respond critically to changing policy both regionally and nationally
- Be transparent and accountable, and representative of members of the network
- Work collaboratively with other groups and organisations who have similar visions and aims
- To apply our work in the task of building a sustainable, just and socially responsible food system.

Farm Walks
On Wednesday 16 July we have a visit to Chapel Farm near Moffat. Home to Tom and Judith Hutchison and their son Duncan, the family bought the farm in 1993 and have always farmed conventionally.
In 2019 Judith accidentally attended a talk with Joel Williams which has changed the way they farm. Join this walk to hear about their Journey from Conventional to Regenerative.

Role Vacancy: Farmer Cluster Facilitator
We are currently recruiting for a Farm Cluster Facilitator to lead our work in Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire.
Key tasks are continuing to develop opportunities for farmer to farmer knowledge sharing, and encouraging more farmers to be involved.
Must be good at organising and enjoy being out in wet fields digging holes and counting earthworms.

Resources
Whether you are looking for inspiration for your own farm, want to learn more about regenerative farming and agroecology, or how to get involved with ongoing projects check out our resource library.

Voices of Farmers
Listen to audio recordings from farmers telling their own stories about living and working on the land.
We hear from Irene, Naomi, Neil, Ruth and Heather - all members of the RegenFarm Network, and all working hard to produce food profitably and in harmony with nature.

Share an Acre
Share an acre is for farmers and landowners who are willing to 'share an acre' (or more!) with a market gardener or vegetable producer.
This is our response to getting more vegetables produced for local retail in Dumfries and Galloway. We need more veg production for diversity, resilience and health!
